Andrew Lloyd Webber, the most successful composer of our time, is looking for someone to play the biggest role in history – the lead in his legendary show Jesus Christ Superstar.
And he’s leaving the final decision up to YOU.
This is a search for a star beyond imagination, someone with the voice, charisma and talent to play the lead in this legendary rock musical. In 2012, auditions will take place across the country as potential Jesus performers sing their hearts out for a place in these final live shows. Will they be able to convey the passion and commitment required?
Unlike weekly talent shows, our performers must prove they have the stamina and ability to face a challenge that reveals what it will be like for them if they win – performing night after night at the top of their game.
Andrew Lloyd Webber will be joined by Jason Donovan, Dawn French and Melanie Chisholm to help him in his search. But ultimately, it’s up to you to decide who will be his Superstar.
