Can I please bring your attention again to the schedule for extra rehearsals as we get closer to the show – PLEASE MAKE SURE THESE ARE IN YOUR DIARY!
It is critical that everyone attends full run throughs as we only have a few times when we go through the whole show all together before opening night.
You will note from the attached schedule the following key dates:
Tuesdays
During April, principals continue Tuesdays as usual PLUS ALL cast will be needed for some Tuesdays NOTABLY Tue April 26.
Weekend rehearsals
Sun 17 April from 1.30pm – all company
Saturday 30 April morning – principals ONLY band call
Sunday May 8 time tbc but allow from noon to 10pm – get in at theatre, technical and show run through including company band call whilst running the show
Sun 1 /Mon 2 May from 1.30pm – this long weekend presents one of the many bank holidays that have fallen, slightly inconveniently for STC, in our rehearsal period this year – though we have worked round avoiding the Easter weekend! Originally the BH Sunday had been scheduled, but there have been suggestions from some members of the company that it would be better to have this run through on the Monday afternoon – giving a longer window for folks to have a long weekend (however, please note that principals are required for band call on this holiday weekend’s Saturday morning, 30th April).
We will be taking account of what everyone would prefer and will let you all know asap which day is finalised. The production team are happy to move the rehearsal to the Monday if that suits everyone BUT, as previously explained, this rehearsal is mandatory – whether on the Sunday or Monday – and so IF we do change the date, everyone must be able to attend the revised day as folks may have already arranged themselves around the original Sunday rehearsal.
We will try and get round folks at rehearsal But you can reply directly to this email for speed ESP if you are not at rehearsal tonight?!
